I started this blog to dive into the juiciest corners of the Korean entertainment scene and reminisce about my Tumblr days, obsessing over underground Korean rappers and the over scene in Korea.
It’s wild to see how posts from back then are still popping up. The foreigner community was tiny, so every drama felt huge.
Today, we’re talking about Miss Stefanie Michova, best known as rapper Beenzino’s wife and baby momma, but once a famous (some might say infamous) model in Korea.
Originally from Munich, Germany, Stefanie began modeling at 17, moving between LA and Korea. I first saw her in Taeyang and GD’s “Good Boy” MV, but there were already stories about her online, which we’re going to unpack.
The internet is forever, but these old posts about her might quietly disappear, so let’s preserve the chaos.
Early Modeling Career & First Marriage
Stefanie started modeling young and gained attention quickly:
Do you know Stefanie Michova (25)? She is german/american model and girlfriend of korean rapper Beenzino.
If you know her, you probably also know that she was married once. (maybe she still is, who knows…)
She was in relationship with Thomas Uncles (33), born in Los Angeles producer and director, founder of Weimar Pictures. I know Stefanie and Tom get married in 2009 (?) and they still were together in 2014 (!!!).
Tom has younger brother, Robert Uncles (29). Rob was a member of famous american/european boyband called Lexington Bridge. They were active in years 2006-2010. Right now Rob is a part of Weimar Pictures with his brother.
I was huge LXB fan and Rob was my crush 🙂 And this is how I “met” Stefanie Uncles.
Few years ago (2013? idk) Stefanie went to South Korea for a modeling contract. I even remember that Tom posted a photo of Stefanie with a caption something like “I will miss you blah blah”. Unfortunately I can’t find this picture. Probably Tom has deleted it (the same as many more pictures with Stefanie)
When she was in Korea on contract she appeared in a few k-pop music videos e.g. “Good Boy” by GD x YG and “Uncommitted” by Xia Junsu.
And probably this is when she met Beenzino.
And cheated Tom with him (?).

1. Tom Uncles has edited “Like a G6″ music video for Far East Movement. You can know them from collabs with Chanyeol or Tiffany.
2. “Good Boy” was a song which got me into kpop. And I haven’t realized at first Stefanie was in the mv…
So yeah… I know this Stefanie drama is kinda old but I just wanted to tell you my story. Back then I was LXB fan and now I’m a kpop/khh fan. Look how small the world is.
This is allegedly around the time when she met Beenzino, and rumors online say she cheated on her ex-husband Tom with him.
Romance and relationship timeline with Rapper Beenzino
Stefanie’s relationship with Beenzino stirred Korean and international fans alike.
It was April 2015 when they revealed their relationship, but considering that they celebrated their 5th anniversary in 2019, they probably started dating in August 2014. She says neither Beenzino nor she fell in love at first sight, but they hung out a few times, and during a trip to the US, she felt attracted to him for the first time.
Beenzino said he liked Michova because of her “countryman vibe.” The two had met through a mutual acquaintance, and Michova liked his face, so she confessed to Beenzino first.
When they were shopping together in New York, Beenzino thought Michova would enjoy it, so they visited hip shops and LP stores(?) as a date course, but Michova was exhausted and cried, saying, “I don’t know or like this.”
At this time, she was attracted to his easy-going personality, which was different from the first impression that he seemed proud of his gorgeous appearance.
According to what they revealed when they appeared on the MBC variety show Real Love, You Lose If You Envy Them, Beenzino and Michova mostly communicate in English, speaking only a little Korean. Beenzino has also learned some German, so sometimes he mixes a bit of German into their conversations as well. (Source: NamuWiki)
Her early beginnings were heavily talked about online with rumors swirling.
“For those who follow Korean hiphop, 33 year old rapper Beenzino… popped the question after 5 years of dating to his German girlfriend Stefanie Michova; who is a known Korean industry pass-around, Yellow fetish and clout chaser hussy.”
“At 29 years old this will be the German born second marriage, her first marriage was to an American man, Thomas Uncles who she allegedly married in her early 20s for dem papers… so she could get her modeling career popping off here in the states.”
Fans were divided on her influence and behavior:
“Beenzino dated a Korean girl who didnt like the spotlight and was more lowkey so when he got with Stef who was rumored to have dated and slept with Korean singers/rappers such as Danny from 1Tyme, Dumbfoundead and Jay Park, it had Korean netizens (internet users) confused and mad.”
“Below her first husband when she was known as Stefanie Uncles. ^^Poor thing he thought she was in Korea for work and she was actually trying to work that puss for some yellow meat!!! She was flying back and forth to South Korea for a couple of years for different ‘gigs’ and she allegedly started to date Beenzino when she was still legally married.”
Some commentary on her fan reception and controversies:
“When Beenzino and Stef first started to date a lot of Korean and international female fans didn’t like her because of her yellow fetish antics such as calling her Asian female friends her Asian doll collection.”
“Fans were even trying to hook Beenzino and Korean singer Hyolyn up especially when they did projects together (Stef went on a blocking spree on Beenzino’s account when he posted pics of his promo shoots with Hyolyn b/c fans were saying that him and Hyolyn looked better together).”
“White girl can be passed around and they will still scoop her up like a prize while bashing their own for sleeping around. I like Beenzino too. Sad.”
Some perspective reminding us not to overgeneralize:
“You guys really need to stop this kind of negative self-talk like ‘white girls always insert benefit here.’ It’s harmful to your subconscious and untrue anyways. You are just as worthy, deserving and capable of getting married as any white person.”
The saga of Stefanie gets even juicier with Jay Park. K-hiphop fans have long speculated about the inspiration behind his song “2nd Thots”, and Stefanie is allegedly at the center:
“So a bit of background story; there are rumors going around in the K-hiphop fandom that Stefanie Michova, Beenzino’s current girlfriend, has a thing for Korean rappers. Rumor has it she used to date Dumbfoundead and via him, she met Jay Park who she dated after. And via Jay, got introduced to more people aka Beenzino who she is currently dating.
As far as I know, there is no trustworthy source that can confirm if Stefanie has actually dated Dumbfoundead or Jay Park before. The rappers themselves are super vague about it too. Either way, a part of the international K-hiphop fandom believes it and suspects that Jay Park’s new song “2nd Thots” is about Stefanie Michova.”

The short video shows Stefanie crying as she receives a Tiffany & Co. ring, with Beenzino cooking dinner and setting up the surprise mood himself. The couple had been public with their relationship since 2015.
Pregnancy Announcement
In May 2024, the couple announced they’re expecting their first child together:

He shared a 2-week ultrasound video, a photo of Stefanie touching a dol hareubang rock statue’s nose on Jeju Island, and another enjoying ice cream with her baby bump proudly on display. Beenzino also posted a picture of himself holding three pregnancy tests with double lines, clearly overjoyed.

The couple officially tied the knot in August 2022, and now their little family is about to grow even bigger.
After years of modeling, K-hiphop drama, and starting a family, Stefanie Michova is stepping into acting. She’ll appear in Big Deal (소주전쟁), a 2025 South Korean drama about the 1997 Jinro Group sale, playing Julia alongside Yoo Hae-jin, Lee Je-hoon, and Son Hyun-joo.
The film had controversy (the original director Choi Yun-jin was dismissed over script allegations), but it premiered on May 30, 2025, during Golden Week. This marks Stefanie’s first acting role, hinting at a new chapter beyond modeling and K-hiphop gossip.
She also appeared in popular foodie YouTuber @doobydobap’s video so maybe we’ll start seeing her pop up in other Seoul-based vlogs.
